1989 Studied textile design at the Moscow Textile Academy

1990 Founded the design company Ekaterina Moroz, whose most well-known project was created for the Museum of the Kremlin, a collection of scarves based on the designs of Faberge, and other famous Russian jewelry designers from the collection of the Moscow Kremlin.


1996 Organized the studio Bochavar Accessories, concentrating on fabric design for New York designers.


1999 Conceived and developed the ZVON boutique in SOHO Manhattan. The boutique presented designers from all over the world (including Japan, France, Spain, America, Canada and Russia) in the creation of not only vivid and unforgettable collections but also in collaborative multimedia art-projects.


2000 Used the clothing and accessories from ZVON in contemporary ballet for the New York festival Art Boat, organized by the gallery Artpropaganda.


Throughout these years, she completed more than 20 monumental paintings throughout the United States.


2003 Katya Bochavar invents and develops a unique technique of employing canvas within interiors. This technique leads to collaborations with leading American architects, including Steven Sills, David Easton and Alexandra Shampelemont. Examples of the artist’s technique can be found in popular architecture magazines including Architectural Digest, Interior Decoration and Interior + Design.


2004 Created a line of conceptual jewelry, under the brand “much2much.”


2005 much2much’s collection “Russian Revolution” was featured in the halls of the Faceted Chamber in the Kremlin as part of Moscow Fashion Week.

2005 Showed the piece “Memorial Necklace” in the group exhibition “Sarcophagus, Ghanaian Style, or The funeral of a Dreamer” in the Berliner Kunstproekt Gallery, Berlin.


2006 Showed the sculpture “Ghetto Chik” in the group exhibition of New York artists, “Here (There)” in the Gallery on Solyanka, Moscow.


2007 Director and scenery design for Fedor Pavlov’s Elizaveta Bam, in the Moscow Council Theatre, in Moscow.


2007 Personal exhibition in Frants Gallery, St. Petersburg.

2008 much2much featured as an honored guest of the Premiere Classe exhibition in Paris.


2008 Artistic direction of the gala concert for the Roza Mira festival in the Theatre of Youth, Moscow.
